Maintain momentum

The key to ongoing business success is to maintain the momentum you have achieved with regards to communication and relationship building.
Once you have sold something to a customer you are in a very strong position. You know that they are interested in what you offer – they have parted with hard earned cash for it! – and you have the beginnings of a relationship.

Now is the time to capitalise on this.

Keep building on that relationship.

Keep providing value to them.

Increase the trust they have in you.

Become their friend.

You can do this by using any of the techniques discussed on this site, including:

Don't be afraid to ask them to buy something that you genuinely believe will meet a need.

And you should keep this momentum until they ask you to stop.

Provided you only give value and don’t bombard, there is no reason why they will ask you to stop and you will be building an incredibly valuable list of customers and potential customers.
